Infinix has officially launched their latest HOT Series smartphones, the HOT 40 Pro and HOT 40i models in Malaysia today. Both models come at an attractive price point, showcasing significant upgrades in terms of performance, display, camera features, as well as software.

HOT 40 Pro
The HOT 40 Pro comes with an upgraded 5000mAh battery, which include the exclusive Power Marathon feature. With the Ultra Power Saving mode, users can enjoy up to 2 hours of calling time when the battery level drops to as low as 5%.
The Pro model also comes equipped with the 33W enduring FastCharge technology, complete with real-time temperature monitoring. This enhanced feature allows users to charge the battery from 20% to 75% in just 35 minutes, ensuring both safety and extended battery lifespan for up to 4 years.
Powering the HOT 40 Pro is the MediaTek Helio G99 octa-core 6nm gaming processor. The device also has 1200Hz instantaneous touch sampling rate for instant responsiveness and Hard-Gyroscope sensor to explore and detect the deviation of an object from its desired orientation.
The HOT 40 Pro comes with a 120Hz FHD+ display to offer smooth scrolling experience. With expandable memory of up to 16GB RAM and 256GB ROM, the HOT 40 Pro effectively doubles the capacity of its physical 8GB memory, resulting in quicker load times and the ability to run up to 18 applications simultaneously. Additionally, the device incorporates Infinix’s innovative Metamaterial Antenna technology, delivering enhanced signal performance. This includes a 68% increase in File Download Speed, a 6dB boost in Signal Strength, and a 36% reduction in Game Latency.
In the camera department, HOT 40 Pro comes with 108MP main camera with the HM6 sensor, ensuring sharp and detailed images with 0.64-micron pixels, even after cropping. The 2MP macro lens allows for capturing intricate details and textures up close, while the 32MP AI-enhanced front camera ensures excellent group photos and selfies, even in low-light conditions, thanks to its advanced front flash. The camera experience is also enhanced with a variety of feature such as Professional Portrait Mode, Sky Remap, and Dual View Video.
HOT 40i
The HOT 40i comes with an Octa-Core chipset and the same storage capacity as its counterpart. It has a smooth scrolling experience with its 90Hz super fluid punch-hole screen, complemented by a 50MP Dual AI camera and a 32MP crystal-clear selfie camera. With enhanced 18W fast charging and a 5000mAh long-lasting battery, it also features a stylish side-mounted fingerprint unlock for quick access, offering users functionality and elegance at an affordable price.
HOT 40 Pro and HOT 40i feature the trendy Magic Ring, providing users with essential information such as face unlock status, battery charge level, incoming calls, and more. For fast and smooth gameplay, they are equipped with Infinix’s XBOOST Gaming Engine, empowering gamers to optimise their gaming settings for peak performance, resulting in a seamless and immersive gaming experience. Additionally, they are equipped with Near Field Communication (NFC), enabling users to enjoy the convenience of short-range wireless technology for tasks like sharing data or making contactless payments.
In terms of design, both of the devices stand out with its captivating aesthetics, featuring a layer of sparkling crystals set against a starry texture. This design showcases a glossy finish that dynamically shifts appearance as it reflects light from different angles. Available in Horizon Gold, Starlit Black, Palm Blue, and the newly introduced Starfall Green, these devices offer a unique colour option that blends black and green hues, creating an enchanting aurora-like effect reminiscent of a starry night sky.
