Huawei Malaysia has confirmed the new HUAWEI WATCH GT 7 Series official launch is happening on 29 September 2026, as the new series is designed to move seamlessly between everyday routines, active lifestyles and outdoor adventures.Â
The new HUAWEI WATCH GT 7 Series represents another step in wearable technology, focusing on improved health awareness. A key feature is the HUAWEI-exclusive Diabetes Risk Study, a project by Universiti Malaya. This study uses signals from the watch’s PPG sensor, along with personal details like age, gender, height, and weight, to check for diabetes risk after wearing the watch for three to 14 days. The aim is to promote health awareness and encourage lifestyle changes.
The series also introduces a new Physical Readiness Score, which combines recovery, heart rate variability, sleep, activity, and emotional health into a daily evaluation.
In terms of design, the HUAWEI WATCH GT 7 Series blends stylish looks with durable materials. The regular version is available in 46 mm and 41 mm sizes, with seven color choices, while the HUAWEI WATCH GT 7 Pro comes in three colors, featuring a strong ceramic bezel and titanium frame. The Pro model also has sapphire glass, and a new EasyCross Strap for a secure and comfortable fit. It boasts a bright AMOLED display that can reach up to 3,000 nits, improving visibility outdoors.
For outdoor activities, Enhanced AI-XDR Positioning provides more reliable tracking in tough conditions, and Smart Route Reconstruction helps when GPS signals are weak. The Pro model also includes new golf features like Plays-like Distance and Shot Distance tracking, as well as cycling tools such as Intelligent Climbing Planning and Lactate Threshold Analysis.
The HUAWEI WATCH GT 7 Pro and WATCH GT 7 46mm can last up to 21 days on a single charge, while the WATCH GT 7 41mm offers up to 14 days. The series includes useful features like Touch ’n Go QR payments and works with both Android and iOS smartphones. The Pro model also supports certified ECG functionalities.
The HUAWEI WATCH GT 7 Series will officially launch in Malaysia on 29 September 2026. Customers can also look forward to complimentary gifts worth up to RM713, including the HUAWEI EasyCross Strap, HUAWEI FreeBuds SE 2, three months of HUAWEI Health+, one month of Watch Face Membership, a one-year Worry-Free Care Package and one-year APAC Warranty. A limited-time RM100 rebate and 10% off with SPayLater will also be available. The HUAWEI WATCH GT 7 Series will be available at HUAWEI Experience Stores and through HUAWEI’s official online channels, including the HUAWEI Official Website, HUAWEI Official Store on Shopee, HUAWEI Flagship Store on Lazada, and HUAWEI Official TikTok Shop.
