HUAWEI Malaysia has just officially launched the new HUAWEI P50 Pro and the latest foldable smartphone, P50 Pocket in Malaysia. The company is heavily emphasis both device aims to deliver amazing mobile photography while providing an amazing aesthetic design.
HUAWEI stated that both HUAWEI P50 Pro and P50 Pocket has HUAWEI XD Optics and XD Fusion Pro Image Engine so that users can enjoy True-Chroma Shot, excellent image clarity, high dynamic range and improved smart snapshot capabilities.
In Malaysia, the HUAWEI P50 Pro is asking for RM4,199 and pre-order beginning from 12 January 2022 and will be made available on HUAWEI Official Website, HUAWEI Experience Stores, authorised platforms and retail stores starting from 22 January 2022. HUAWEI Malaysia is offering lots of freebies (worth up to RM2,100)* for the P50 Pro during the pre-order period to entice Malaysian buyers as per below:

However, if you’re really need an early comment for both device (we haven’t get the opportunity to hands-on or review, though), here is what I think. For the P50 Pro, you’re actually paying a 4G flagship smartphone in 2022 which is quite hard to recommend as Malaysia has 5G connectivity available right now. On to the HUAWEI P50 Pocket, the competition is lowering their price for foldable and flip smartphone, making it a big hurdle for the brand. Lastly, I have asked some circle of friends and all of them have one major concern, which everyone should know and aware about it.
Also, there is not much to highlight on the specification. All I can say is if you’re someone who is a HUAWEI ecosystem user and interested in mobile photography, you should go ahead and upgrade today in Malaysia. If you need to learn more about both device, please visit http://consumer.huawei.com.
