Huawei Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (Huawei Malaysia) and key industry partners launched a new technical white paper called ‘High-Quality 10 Gbps AI Campus Network Technical and Standard White Paper’ at the Huawei Malaysia IP Club 2026 conference. This paper sets the stage for Malaysia’s next generation of smart digital infrastructure.
As companies increasingly adopt artificial intelligence (AI) beyond small projects to larger implementations, they are looking for intelligent network systems to handle the demands of AI applications and digital services. The white paper serves as a trusted reference, sharing technical standards, best practices, and guidance for creating advanced AI campus networks.
Focusing on fast wireless connectivity, complete security, and automated network operations, this framework helps businesses build a strong digital foundation for the smart era.

The white paper was presented by Ir Dr Bernard Lim, Chair of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Malaysia Section; Professor Emeritus Dr Sureswaran Ramadass, Chairman of the APAC IPv6 Council; Du Xianjun, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Enterprise Business Group, Huawei Malaysia; Leon Lv, Director of Huawei APAC Enterprise Network Marketing & Solution Sales Department; and Jay Wu, Vice President of Huawei Malaysia Enterprise Marketing & Solution.
In his opening address, Deputy CEO of Huawei Malaysia Enterprise Business Group, Du Xianjun, reaffirmed Huawei’s commitment to its “In Malaysia, For Malaysia” approach and said Malaysia is moving swiftly into the AI era, with sectors such as finance, education, government and smart campuses requiring faster, smarter and more reliable networks.
“Today, we are willing to push the boundaries and work even harder and more closely with our customers, partners and industry experts to build Malaysia’s AI-ready digital infrastructure,” Du said.
David Chen, Director of Huawei Campus Network Solution Product, presented Huawei’s Xinghe Intelligent Campus Network Solution during the conference. The solution combines AI-powered networking, ultra-fast wireless connectivity, Full-Scope Security and Autonomous Driving Network (ADN) capabilities to help organisations maximise digital productivity and build future-ready campuses.
Victor Lapian, Chief Technology Officer of Huawei Asia-Pacific (APAC), outlined Huawei’s vision for Full-Scope Security, highlighting how integrated protection across digital and physical environments enable organisations to build secure, resilient and trusted campus networks.
Real-world deployments were showcased with Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Sunway Education Group, and Institut Aminuddin Baki (IAB) sharing their experiences with Huawei’s campus networking solutions. Their success stories illustrated improvements in operational efficiency and user experience.
The conference featured 31 interactive demonstration screens showcasing solutions in education, finance, and government. Huawei collaborated with partners for solution demonstrations and technical discussions on AI-powered campus networks.
Attendees of the ‘Capture & Connect’ campaign were rewarded for their engagement during the event.
