HUAWEI Band 9 officially launched in Malaysia; pre-orders with free gifts starts now until 3 Apr 2024

HUAWEI Consumer Business Group (CBG) has officially launched the HUAWEI Band 9 in Malaysia.

The new Band 9 by HUAWEI offers sleek, slim profile with a weight of just 14g and a thickness of 8.99mm. The display is a 1.47-inch AMOLED with a 65% screen-to-body ratio. It will be available in five colours: Starry Black, White, Lemon Yellow, Charm Pink, and Blue.

Band 9’s strap will be offered in two material. Firstly, the fluoroelastomer straps in select colours provide a soft, smooth touch, ensuring comfort in any situation. The unique double buckle design and quick-disconnect feature allow for effortless customisation, embodying Huawei’s commitment to both form and function. Last but not least, the Blue strap stands out thanks to the light, breathable jacquard weave made from anti-bacterial nylon yarn, ensuring safety, comfort, and anti-bacterial properties, ideal for active and restful wear. 

HUAWEI Band 9 offers more than 10,000 watch faces for users to change accordingly to their preference. To get the most out of your health and fitness companion, there will be four brand new watch faces added to the list, inclusive of Quiet Mountain, Woven Fun, Super, and Classy

HUAWEI Band 9 now includes HUAWEI TruSleep 4.0, science-based sleep tracker which provides insights into the user’s sleep quality. HUAWEI TruSleep 4.0 offers comprehensive capabilities providing more complete data to help users obtain a fuller picture of their sleep status. 

It also introduces Sleep Breathing Awareness, detecting breathing interruptions to aid in early sleep apnoea detection and overall sleep health. This comprehensive approach to sleep analysis helps users gain a deeper understanding of their sleep patterns, offering personalised suggestions for improvement through the HUAWEI Health App.

The integration of HUAWEI TruSeen 5.5 on the other hand, enhances heart rate and blood oxygen monitoring accuracy for blood oxygen monitoring, HUAWEI TruSeen 5.5, utilises a new high-efficiency photoplethysmography (PPG) optical detection module combined with a multi-channel fusion algorithm, effectively improving the accuracy of blood oxygen monitoring. Meanwhile, for heart rate monitoring, HUAWEI TruSeen 5.5 has enhanced the diversity of training samples in sports scenarios, strengthening the algorithm’s ability to adapt and perform accurately across different scenarios.

For those who love workout and sports, the HUAWEI Band 9 has over 100 workout modes, improved Activity Rings 2.0, and the proprietary HUAWEI TruSport algorithm, to provide comprehensive data and insights for a wide range of activities. The Band 9 offers battery life of up to 14 days, fast charging capability, and intuitive Service Widget.
