HP Malaysia has revealed its latest OMEN 16 Laptop and Victus 16 Laptop, the newest HP gaming laptop which packed the all-new hardware and software for gamers.
The new OMEN 16 can be powered by either Intel Core i7-12700H series processor or AMD Ryzen 9 6900HX Mobile Processors. For graphics, gamers have the option to choose from NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti Laptop GPU and the latest MAX Q technologies or AMD Ryzen RX 6650M.
OMEN 16 has a software called OMEN Dynamic Power within OMEN Gaming Hub can precisely detect real-time CPU and GPU capacity and dynamically allocate power between the two, thanks to a built-in IR thermopile sensor. This technology has contributed up to an 18% performance increase in 3D Mark Time Spy and up to a 36% increase in CPU performance over last year’s model. For cooling solutions, the OMEN 16 offers new thermal solution with an upgraded fifth heat pipe and fourth outflow vent have additionally contributed to a -3% GPU hinge and -14% bottom SSD temperature while also running 5% quieter compared to last gen.
With a QHD 165Hz IPS panel with 3ms response time and 100% sRGB, OMEN 16 is going to set up an immersive viewing experience for gamers. With low blue light with Eyesafe display certification by TÜV Rheinland and an auto brightness sensor, gamers are ensured to have added protection for their eyes. It also has keyboard with per-key RGB lighting with OMEN Gaming Hub Light Studio integration to offer the best gaming experience.
Meanwhile, the Victus 16 is powered by either Intel Core i7-12700H series processors or 8-core AMD Ryzen 7 6800H Mobile Processors and can be paired up to 32 GB DDR5-4800 MHz memory. Graphic is powered by either NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Laptop GPU 6 GB and AMD Radeon RX 680M. It also offers a single SSD up to Gen4 1TB PCIe storage or Dual SSD supporting RAID 0 storage options as well as optional Intel Optane memory are quick and simple for gaming and other activities.
Victus 16 has two striking color options in mica silver and performance blue with standard backlit keyboard printed with the memorable font found on OMEN devices. The Victus 16’s design is similar to a 15-inch footprint for practical everyday portability.
For display, Victus 16 boasts a 16-inch display with options up to FHD 144 Hz and Eyesafe low-blue light. As we know gaming laptops will need to run extensive long period and cooling solution has to be the best. The Victus 16 sports a five-way airflow and a four-heat pipe design to help keep things running cool when the action gets hot.
Both OMEN 16 and Victus 16 Laptops ship with OMEN Gaming Hub preinstalled to take advantage of powerful internal features such as Performance Mode, Network Booster, and System Vitals to help games run lit. The new Optimizer feature takes this even further by enabling enthusiasts to free up system resources and tweak low-level OS settings to maximize FPS regardless of if their PC is OMEN, Victus, custom built, or others. Additionally, access to other features like Gallery, Rewards, Oasis Live, and OMEN Light Studio with support for Twinkly lights raises gaming experiences in new and exciting ways.
