HMD Global has announced the launch of the Nokia G21 in Malaysia. Bringing added security and durability for users, the Nokia G21 comes with an impressive three-day battery life and better display for an extra smooth experience.
Nokia has confirmed the G21 will get three years of monthly security updates and two years of software upgrades. With this, the Nokia G21 users will not have to worried about their device protection. Another security feature that’s not widely available in the market is mask mode. The mask mode ensures that the convenience of face unlock is never disrupted – keep your data safe with or without a protective face mask.
Apart from that, G21 is certified as Android 12 ready device, so you always have access to the latest features and have a smartphone that you can keep for longer.
For more added security, the Nokia G21 comes pre-loaded with ExpressVPN, a privacy and security tool for web safety. For enhanced privacy and added peace of mind, ExpressVPN will be available on all new Nokia smartphones with a 30-day free trial.
Powering the Nokia G21 is the UNISOC T606 along with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. Storage is expandable via MicroSD card slot that supports up to 512GB. As for the battery department, it features a 5050mAh battery that supports 18W quick charge. Nokia is claiming the device is capable to last three days thanks to the all-new bespoke Super Battery Saver mode. This feature will switched on at 20% battery, rather than waiting until it dips down to 10%, as per the standard Android solution, enabling you to prolong it even further.
The phone introduces a new and improved design – thinner and more ergonomic, at the same time maintaining its Finnish durability. The phone’s case is made from tough polycarbonate. All this is aligned to Nokia’s commitment for sustainability and environmental policy. The display is a 6.5” HD+ 20:9 V-notch display that supports 90Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 400 nits.
On top of that, the device comes with a 50MP triple-lens camera to fully equip users to create professional-looking photography and delivering beautiful detail even in low light. On the front, AI smarts ensure your evening selfies will have just the right amount of light and clarity.
In addition, the Nokia smartphones now come pre-installed with Spotify allowing access to 70 million tracks and 3.2 million podcasts out of the box and dance to your favourite track. The Nokia G21 will be priced at RM799.
