Hisense Malaysia has collaborated with Sunway University to host “Beyond Glory Campus Cup”, a friendly inter-university football tournament between university football teams within the Klang Valley. This event was held in conjunction with the UEFA European Football Championship 2024 (UEFA EURO 2024), where Hisense is the official partner. This collaboration not only underscores Hisense’s commitment towards enhancing the sport experience, but also marks a significant initiative to foster local youth sports development in Malaysia.
On 7 July, Hisense Malaysia and Sunway University co-hosted a friendly football tournament at the Sunway University football field. The event included teams from several esteemed universities including Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology (TARUMT), Taylor’s University, The International Medical University (IMU) and Sunway University’s own football team. Hisense Malaysia’s team also joined the tournament, culminating in a match against the winning team. Through this event, Hisense Malaysia and Sunway University aims to promote the sport among local youths, and to foster healthy competition between universities. This event not only celebrates football but also reinforces Hisense’s mission to make a positive impact on society through sports and technology.
