Hisense ASEAN 2026 Partner Conference: Deep Localisation for Win-Win Growth

Hisense recently held its Hisense ASEAN 2026 Partner Conference in Kuala Lumpur, bringing together partners, distributors, and media from the ASEAN region. Under the theme “Innovating A Brighter Life, Win-Win For Future,” Hisense introduced several new flagship display products, including the world’s largest 116” UXQ RGB MiniLED TV, the Triple-Color Laser Cinema L9Q, and the XR10 laser projector. This launch reflects Hisense’s strong technology and commitment to the ASEAN market.

The star of the event was the Hisense 116” UX, which is the world’s first RGB MiniLED TV. This TV uses advanced RGB MiniLED technology, where each micro LED has red, green, and blue chips. This allows for better control of color and brightness, achieving a 100% BT.2020 color range for more natural and vibrant picture quality.

With its own RGB MiniLED chip and Hi-View AI Engine RGB, this TV offers real-time color optimization and accuracy. It also includes a 6.2.2 CineStage X sound system, developed with Devialet, providing theater-level sound in homes.

Hisense will also introduce the UR8 series, first seen at CES 2026, in Southeast Asia. This series is affordable and comes in various sizes, featuring a special Native 180Hz Game Mode for smooth gaming.

For large home cinema setups, Hisense continues to lead with its TriChroma laser technology. The Hisense L9Q is a premium laser TV designed for a top-notch home theater experience, delivering 5000 ANSI lumens, a 5000:1 contrast ratio, and a wide color range. It can project a high-quality 150-inch image. The XR10 laser projector is also available, providing bright, colorful images and great performance for projections up to 300 inches.

Hisense is at the forefront of RGB MiniLED technology, using its own chips and designs to enhance user experience. The 116” UX, UR8, L9Q, and XR10 together create a complete lineup for large-screen viewing, suitable for various scenarios from premium to ultra-cinema.

  1. Hi! It’s smart to see a giant like Hisense actually leaning into ‘deep localization’ instead of just trying to push a one-size-fits-all global catalog. Actually building R&D centers in the regions where you’re selling makes a huge difference in product quality and trust. It’ll be interesting to see if this helps them edge out the competition on local pricing and support.
