Sony Thermo Technology Inc. has recently unveiled the REON POCKET 6, a sixth-generation wearable thermo device designed to cool or warm the body at the neck.
The REON POCKET 6 features the new “Compact DUAL Thermo Module” with an improved cooling algorithm, delivering enhanced cooling performance of up to 2°C while keeping a similar size to the previous model. It also boasts a refined design and an evolved fit for comfort in various environments, from daily commutes to business settings.

Enhanced Cooling and a Compact Form Factor with the Newly Developed “Compact DUAL Thermo Module”
The device features a compact thermo module developed for the REON POCKET 6, using a “DUAL Thermo Module” architecture. Two independent modules operate alternately to enhance cooling sensation.
A new cooling algorithm optimizes comfort, achieving up to a 2°C improvement in performance while maintaining a similar overall body size to the previous model. Sony’s cooling technology is now more compact.
New Neckband Featuring “Adaptive Hold Design”
The neckband features an “Adaptive Hold Design” that balances a secure fit and comfort around the neck. By increasing the diameter of the internal mechanical tube, flexibility has improved, enabling smoother movement tracking. Soft silicone supports at the tips ensure comfort during extended wear.
Redesigned Air Vent Cover Adjustable to Fit Your Attire
The detachable air vent cover, designed to exhaust heat, has been re-engineered. The mechanism now allows for extension, retraction, and angle adjustment of the exhaust vent, optimizing exhaust flow to suit the user’s neck shape, preferences, and clothing styles, maintaining peak cooling performance.
Direct Device Operation and a Smart Design Harmonizing with Your Style
Buttons on the side of the unit allow for basic controls when it’s inconvenient to use a smartphone. Users can power the unit on/off, switch modes, and select temperature levels directly. The light grey colour complements various outfits, while its smooth, rounded design seamlessly integrates into your personal style.
