Google Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL in Malaysia: Here’s what you need to know

Google has officially launched their 10th generation of phones: Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL and they will be making their way to Malaysia.

This time, the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL gets a refined iconic camera bar, while all three models come with Pixelsnap for built in Qi2 wireless charging — and a range of new magnetic accessories — and are made with the most recycled materials.

The Pixel 10 series will be the first to feature Material 3 Expressive, Google’s latest UI that enhances personalization and fluidity with smooth interactions — a great match for the refreshed design. Your phone will also stay fresh and secure with seven years of Pixel Drops and updates.

This year’s Pixel 10 receives a satin-finish metal frame, polished glass back and the iconic camera bar. It is also complemented with four expressive color options to choose from: Obsidian, Frost, Indigo and Lemongrass. Pixel 10’s 6.3-inch Actua display is now even brighter at 3000 nits and paired with improved audio. Pixel 10 now receives a third camera, a 5x telephoto lens with fast autofocus, 10x optical quality and up to 20x zoom with Super Res Zoom.

The Pixel 10 Pro variants are the one for those who wants the ultimate Pixel experience, largely thanks to the most premium design, brightest Super Actua displays and one of the best triple rear camera system yet. Customers can get in two sizes (6.3-inches) and Pixel 10 Pro XL (6.8-inches), with four colours to choose from: Obsidian, Porcelain, Moonstone and Jade. The Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL is capable of using Pro Res Zoom to reach up to 100x zoom.  The Pro models gets other notable upgrades such as biggest batteries, upgraded speakers, 16 GB of RAM and faster wired charging while Pixel 10 Pro XL supports 25W Qi2.2 wireless charging.

Powering the Pixel 10 series is the latest Tensor G5 (manufactured by TSMC), capable of delivering snappy performance while bringing helpful experiences to Pixel users first. Thanks to co-design with Google DeepMind, the new Gemini Nano model will first run on Tensor G5 to unlock on-device generative AI experiences that simplify everyday life.

For the Pixel 10, Google is introducing Magic Cue. It integrates with your favorite apps — like Google Messages and the Phone app — to offer timely information, such as finding cat photos when mom asks. Magic Cue isn’t just an app; it’s a proactive support system across your phone, providing relevant info and helpful actions to save you time and effort.

For instance, when you’re calling an airline, it can find your flight details from your email and display them during your call. This helps you recall information and take action, whether it’s giving a dinner address or finding photos to share, all without leaving your chat. With your permission, Tensor G5 and Gemini Nano work together to run Magic Cue privately and securely on your phone.

The Pixel 10 series introduces Camera Coach, using Gemini models to suggest improvements for your photos, such as framing and composition. Designed for photography beginners, Camera Coach teaches foundational concepts while inspiring new ways to capture images.

our photography journey, Camera Coach will teach foundational concepts while inspiring you to capture images in entirely new ways.

The new Pro Res Zoom offer users to get really close. Pro Res Zoom uses Tensor G5 and an all-new generative imaging model to intelligently recover and refine intricate details.
