Globetronics Technology Bhd has held its 27th Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Penang. The meeting was held virtually, with shareholders voting in favor of all key resolutions, indicating strong confidence in the company’s strategic direction and management.
During the AGM, shareholders approved the Audited Financial Statements for the financial year ended December 31, 2023, along with the re-election of several key directors, including Mr. Liaw Way Gian, Mr. Ku Chong Hong, Mr. Kang Wei Luen, Dato’ Sri Zaini Bin Jass, Mr. Chiew Jong Wei, Mr. Gan Sheng Yih, and Mr. Tan Teik Hsiung. The payment of Directors’ fees and benefits was also ratified, alongside the re-appointment of Messrs. KPMG PLT as the Company’s auditors.
The AGM also underscored GTB’s commitment to transparency and robust corporate governance, setting the stage for another year of innovation and market leadership in the semiconductor industry.
