Glenmorangie has recently launched the Glenmorangie Grand Vintage Malt 1997 in Malaysia and it will be a limited edition whisky. Developed by Dr Bill Lumsden, it offers a brimming with red fruits and candied sweetness to consumers. The Glenmorangie Grand Vintage Malt 1997 is bottled at 43% ABV.
The whisky will come in Deep Ochre colour and offers an astonishing, perfumed and fruity complexity. Floral notes of rose, jasmine and carnation intermingle with soft red fruits, mint toffee, pastry or cake mix and a sweet confectionery top note. With water, even more soft, floral top notes like roses and carnations emerge, with a very subtle spiciness like sweet chilli, clove and ginger.
Dr Bill said: “Glenmorangie Grand Vintage Malt 1997 is a dramatically different whisky, vibrant with red berries and tingling spice, melting marzipan and floral notes. Inspired by my dream of a more expressive single malt, it wonderfully embodies Glenmorangie’s kaleidoscopic style.”
It will also give drinkers a slightly tingly, gently spicy mouthfeel which followed by a symphony of sweet candy flavours, more soft red fruits, pineapple chunks and a taste reminiscent of pears and mandarin segments in fruit jelly. There are sweet ginger and chilli notes, gentle almond marzipan and vanilla toffee apple.
The Glenmorangie Grand Vintage Malt 1997 is priced from RM3,787 via selected authorised wholesalers only.
