FitVibes 2.0 by LAC reveals Malaysia’s active engagement for Community-Led Wellness

The recent FitVibes 2.0 by LAC at The Parc, Subang has shown Malaysians are greatly responsive to wellness event, as more consumers seek social and sustainable ways to stay active. The event includes run clubs, pickleball leagues, mobility classes and recovery-focused workshops, has saw ticket sales grow by nearly 50%, while the LAC Pickleball Championship 2026 attracted more than 300 participants.

The second edition attracted a wider range of wellness partners, fitness communities, and social sports fans compared to its 2025 debut. This change shows the growing interest in community-focused wellness experiences among Malaysians, as many seek alternatives to traditional gym workouts and prefer more holistic and social ways to enhance their wellbeing. Partners included BAM & CO, FOOTER, Hub Hub, Skincovery, Montigo, Lab.it, Riasu, and Dao Desserts.

Through collaboration with local wellness groups, FitVibes 2.0 provided participants with various experiences throughout the day. Key activities included a 5KM community run by Turbo Run Club, dance fitness with Groove Society, strength and mobility training by PJ Collective, Sunrise Yoga, and a restorative Breathwork & Sound Bath session led by Savy Ho. There were also wellness activities like BAM & CO’s Personalised AromaStone Atelier, the Glow From Within Facial Meridian Workshop, and the Acrylic Sand Painting Workshop. These activities reflect LAC Malaysia’s commitment to creating a more connected and inclusive wellness community.

Recovery became a main topic at FitVibes 2.0, highlighting a new trend in wellness culture where people value recovery and resilience as much as exercise. This shift is evident in how individuals manage stress, support long-term wellbeing, and maintain active lifestyles, which were all part of the FitVibes 2.0 experience.

Another highlight was the LAC Pickleball Championship 2026, organized with PLAYA Racquet Club and backed by sponsors like Skechers, FX Motion Rehab, FOOTER, Vitamin Well, Franklin, Nature Loop, Salonpas, and 176 Avenue. These partners aim to promote healthier and more active lifestyles for Malaysians. The tournament featured a prize pool of over RM37,000, including LAC products, and welcomed participants aged 28 and up from novice and intermediate levels, adding a competitive spirit to the FitVibes 2.0 event.

The championship comes amid the rapid rise of pickleball in Malaysia, now the second-fastest growing market globally, with nearly 60% player growth in 90 days and over 400 active clubs. As participation expands across age groups, the sport is increasingly recognized for its accessibility and social benefits. FitVibes 2.0 highlighted the growing role of social sports in Malaysia’s evolving wellness culture.

“What we are seeing today is that consumers are no longer approaching wellness through a single activity or routine,” said Patrick Fam, General Manager of LAC Malaysia.

“Someone who joins a run club may also be exploring mobility training, recovery practices, social sports like pickleball and nutritional support as part of their overall wellbeing journey. As wellness becomes increasingly community-driven, we see an opportunity to create platforms that bring together different communities, making it easier for people to discover new experiences, learn from one another and build sustainable habits that fit naturally into their lifestyles.”

FitVibes 2.0 highlights LAC Malaysia’s dedication to fostering accessible, community-focused wellness experiences. Through the new platform, LAC Community, the brand aims to unite wellness experts, partners, and consumers, emphasizing connection and shared learning. This initiative is part of LAC Malaysia’s ongoing commitment to enhancing the wellness community, with more experiences and activations anticipated in the coming year.
