Fahrenheit88 is presenting Raya Melodies for this Hari Raya Aidilfitri to pay tribute Malaysian performing icons, Tan Sri P. Ramlee and Puan Sri Saloma.
This was made possible with a partnership with Arkib Negara Malaysia, by reliving nostalgic memories against a backdrop of traditional kampung huts infused with contemporary designs from now until 16 May 2022.
For the tribute to Tan Sri P. Ramlee and Puan Sri Saloma, the P. Ramlee Gallery on Level 2, presents the P. Ramlee dan Saloma Exhibition – Aku, Dia dan Lagu. Visitors get the chance to watch snippets of their movies, browse old movie posters and soak in a rare display of personal artifacts of the two icons, including clothing made famous in their movies and performances!
Apart from that, Fahrenheit88 partners with Kraftangan Malaysia for Raya Craft Market at Ground Atrium. Shoppers can visit the area for unique Raya souvenirs and a comprehensive collection of gift ideas such as all kinds of artisanal merchandise, festive wear, handmade accessories, as well as jewelry. If you have the time, try a hand at a game or two of traditional game congkak or snap Instagram-worthy photos with traditional props.
Throughout the celebrations, a variety of activities and performances will engage shoppers including busking performances and a series of workshops such as Batik Colouring, Ceramic Colouring, Wire Keychain Making, Manik Accessories Making and Creating Non-Baked Raya Cookies.
During Ramadhan, Fahrenheit88 also offers amazing buka puasa feasts at Al-Amar and Koryo Won. Shoppers can further experience the festive warmth and gaiety this Raya season with an array of retail offerings and special promotions at Brands Outlet, Daiso, Emrusa, Feith, Kronoz, MR.DIY and Uniqlo.
