Competitors will face 12 hours of racing, requiring flawless consistency and smart strategies as they navigate the circuit’s iconic corners like Eau Rouge and Blanchimont. This much-anticipated event has attracted over 30 teams from at least five countries.

The event is proudly supported by Royal Selangor, the world’s leading name in fine pewter craftsmanship. “Royal Selangor’s partnership with eRacing GP reflects the shared values between traditional craftsmanship and modern motorsport, where dedication, attention to detail and relentless pursuit of perfection define success,” said Hilda Razali, Head of Global Marketing, Royal Selangor International.

Competitors will vie for Royal Selangor trophies, celebrating victory in eRacing GP’s premier endurance events. The race includes teams in three classes: Hypercars (GTP), LMP2, and GT3, creating thrilling battles as professionals and amateurs compete for 12 intense hours.

Teams can choose from the BMW M Hybrid V8, Cadillac V-Series.R GTP, Ferrari 499P, and Porsche 963 GTP in the Hypercars (GTP) class. In LMP2, the Dallara P217 is the racing option. It is an event that captures the essence of endurance competition while giving sim racers the opportunity to compete with some of the best in Asia.”

The 12 Hours of Spa will kick off at 11.00am on 18 July and will be streamed live on eRacing GP’s social channels.

Names to watch for this Saturday include Singapore’s top sim racer, Aleef Hamilton, who will race with Alister Yoong from Malaysia. They will compete against last season’s champions, Apex Racing Brunei. Thailand’s OVERME.team will have three racers led by well-known sim racer Thanprasit Sartsuk, and Malaysia’s Pepega Racing will enter three teams. This includes former Toyota GAZOO RACING Rookies Justin Rahul Dev and Genevieve Ooi, who is the only girl in the race.

The 12 Hours of Spa is part of eRacing GP’s goals to provide amazing virtual motorsport experiences and to link sim racing with the broader motorsport community through well-organized, internationally recognized competitions.
