EcoWorld Connects: Leadership Exchange brings real-world business insights to the Eco Ardence community

As businesses face fast changes in technology, rising consumer demands, and the need to grow sustainably, practical insights from experience are more important than ever.

In response to this, Eco World Development Group Berhad (EcoWorld) is hosting the EcoWorld Connects: Leadership Exchange Masterclass at Eco Ardence in Setia Alam. This event will bring together entrepreneurs and business leaders to share ideas, make connections, and explore growth opportunities.

This one-day masterclass aligns with EcoWorld’s vision of creating integrated communities where business, lifestyle, and community mix—making its developments not just places to live, but ecosystems for collaboration and new ideas.

“EcoWorld Connects reflects our ambition to build more than just physical spaces. We are creating environments where ideas, people and opportunities come together. As the way we work and do business continues to evolve, there is a clear shift towards community-driven environments. Through initiatives like this, alongside developments such as Maya Corporate Office Suites in Eco Ardence, we aim to support business growth by fostering meaningful connections within a thriving community,” said Tiong Siow Yin, General Manager of Eco Ardence.

Bringing together speakers from diverse industries, the session centres on a shared challenge faced by many businesses today — how to move from operational dependence to structured, sustainable growth.

Shin Kong, Founder & CEO of Aimazin AI Digital Human Technology, highlighted the constraints faced by founder-led businesses.

“Many businesses struggle to scale because growth is tied to the founder’s time and capacity. By leveraging AI and system-driven processes, businesses can extend their reach, automate engagement and build a more scalable operating model,” she said.

This shift towards scalability is closely linked to how brands position themselves in an increasingly competitive market. Eddie Tan, Founder of Cake Tella & Keto Cake, emphasised the importance of clarity and consistency.

“Strong products alone are not enough. Brands that endure are built on clear positioning and consistent storytelling. Over time, this builds trust, and trust is what sustains growth,” he added.

Beyond business performance, the conversation also extends to how entrepreneurs translate success into long-term financial stability. Bob Ngoh, Finance Content Creator & Educator, highlighted the importance of structure.

“Income alone does not create wealth. Without a clear framework, many business owners miss opportunities to grow and protect what they have built. Structuring finances with discipline enables better decision-making, resilience and long-term security,” he said.

For established and traditional businesses, the challenge often lies in evolving without losing their identity. Vanessa Chong, CEO of S W Aroma & Foo Kwai Heong, shared her perspective on balancing heritage with transformation.

“Growth requires change, but not at the expense of identity. Businesses need to modernise their systems and branding while staying true to what makes them distinctive. That balance is what keeps them relevant across generations,” she said.

Collectively, these perspectives reinforce a central theme that sustainable growth today requires a combination of systems, clarity, discipline and adaptability.

Through EcoWorld Connects, EcoWorld continues to position its developments not just as places to live and work, but as platforms that bring people, ideas and opportunities together to support long-term growth.
