Didi Resources Sdn Bhd, the sole importer for Harley-Davidson in Malaysia, has recently brought two units of the Harley-Davidson Low Rider El Diablo. The model is globally limited 1500 units. Two Harley-Davidson dealerships in Malaysia — Harley-Davidson of Petaling Jaya (H-D PJ) and Harley-Davidson of Penang (H-D PG) secured one unit each by by way of ballot amongst all Malaysia dealers.
On the 15th January 2023, both dealerships conducted the El Diablo Charity Auction at H-D Petaling Jaya showroom. The starting bid price was RM172,900 and two successful bidders secured the units at RM183,900 and RM179,900 respectively. From this auction, Harley-Davidson of Petaling Jaya and Harley-Davidson of Penang raised a total of RM14,880 for two charitable organisations namely National Cancer Society Malaysia and Lam Wah Ee Hospital.
