DENZA Malaysia has officially launched the new DENZA B8, marking the brand’s first-ever DMO Super Hybrid model introduction in Malaysia.
The DENZA B8 is a luxury off-road SUV that combines electrified performance, intelligent engineering, and elevated comfort. Built on the DMO Super Hybrid Platform, with the DiSUS-P Intelligent Hydraulic Body Control System suspension and a premium cabin, the DENZA B8 exemplifies DENZA’s approach to intelligent luxury mobility.

The DENZA B8 features the DMO Super Hybrid Platform, combining a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine with dual electric motors and BYD Blade Battery technology for optimal performance and efficiency. It has an intelligent four-wheel drive system that delivers 450kW and 760Nm of torque, ensuring excellent acceleration and traction in various conditions.
The 36.8kWh BYD Blade Battery provides a pure electric range of up to 115km and, with a 91-litre fuel tank, offers a total range of up to 1,040 km.
The vehicle operates in Pure EV, HEV Series, and Parallel modes, optimizing power based on driving conditions. Charging options include 120kW DC fast charging, allowing a 30% to 80% charge in 16 minutes, and 11kW AC charging, along with a 6.6kW Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) function for external power use.
The DENZA B8 SUV features the DiSUS-P Intelligent Hydraulic Body Control System, which enhances ride stability, comfort, and adaptability on various terrains. It allows for a ride height adjustment of up to 140mm and a water wading depth of 890mm, improving approach and departure angles to 34 and 35 degrees, respectively. With 275/55R20 tyres, the vehicle maintains stability and reinforces capability for challenging driving conditions, while the DiSUS-P system ensures a smooth and controlled ride across highways, city roads, and uneven surfaces.
The DENZA B8 offers a luxurious cabin experience marked by comfort and intelligent design that enhances every detail. Its exterior showcases a Starship Mecha-inspired design with distinctive Starship Wing LED daytime running lights, Energy Thruster-inspired tail lamps, and a sculpted silhouette that emphasizes its commanding road presence.
Inside the cabin, the focus shifts to calmness and clarity, featuring a driver-centric layout, premium Nappa leather upholstery and a refined, spacious environment designed to enhance both everyday usability and long-distance comfort. The DENZA B8 is offered in two configurations:
- DENZA B8 Premium (6-seater) with second-row captain seats and integrated ottomans, with ventilation and massage functions for enhanced comfort
- DENZA B8 Dynamic (7-seater) with a second-row bench featuring electric recline and ventilation
Both second and third-row seats feature full electric folding and adjustment for versatile space usage. Boot capacity varies from 147 litres to 920 litres (7-seater) and up to 902 litres (6-seater).
The Devialet 18-speaker premium audio system comes as standard in the SUV range enhances the cabin experience, adding depth and luxury to journeys.
Customers can choose from five exterior colours: Alpine White, Dawn Gold, Eclipse Black, Emerald Green, and Nebula Silver, along with two interior themes, Onyx Black and Jasper Brown. This combination offers greater flexibility and a personalised ownership experience.
