DENZA Malaysia is set to launch their first plug-in hybrid model in Malaysia, the DENZA B8. The luxury off-road SUV is developed around three defining pillars that shape how a modern luxury SUV should feel from the inside out: the DMO (Dual Mode Off-Road) Super Hybrid platform, DiSus-P Intelligent Hydraulic Body Control Suspension, and a Refined Luxury cabin experience.

At the core of the DENZA B8 is the BYD-designed DMO (Dual Mode Off-Road) Super Hybrid Platform. This platform combines a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine with two electric motors and advanced Blade Battery technology.
Unlike standard hybrids that mainly focus on city driving, DMO is built for both off-road use and long journeys. In the DENZA B8, it offers up to 450 kW of power and 760 Nm of torque, allowing for quick electric performance and high-speed endurance while still being fuel-efficient in different driving conditions.
With a pure electric range of up to 115 km and a total range of up to 1,040 km according to NEDC standards, the system is ideal for everything from daily driving to long trips and off-road adventures. It features various modes like Pure EV, HEV Series, and Parallel Mode, which automatically adjust power based on how you’re driving.
What’s important about DMO is not just the power it produces, but how it manages power, traction, balance, and fuel economy all together. The dual motors enhance control on rough surfaces while maintaining the luxury comfort expected from an SUV.
