CelcomDigi Berhad has officially announced the appointment of Dennis Chia as the company’s new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Dennis will assume his position on 2 January 2025.
Dennis was the Chief Financial Officer at StarHub in Singapore for close to a decade until September 2024. Prior to joining StarHub, he held multiple CFO and finance leadership positions in large information technology, semiconductor, automative and oil and gas companies, including as Senior Vice President and CFO for STATS ChiPAC Worldwide and Vice President of Finance at Lear Corporation. He brings with him over 30 years of experience as a finance leader, and is a Certified Public Accountant who holds a degree in Accounting from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, and a Master in Business Administration in Marketing and Finance from University of Hull in England.
Dennis succeeds current CFO Lucy Tan, who leaves CelcomDigi following the end of her contract. Lucy has been part of CelcomDigi’s management team since the merger in December 2022. As CFO, she has strengthened CelcomDigi’s growth and operational efficiency focus and led key finance transformation efforts, putting in place a strong foundation to drive the company’s performance.
