Sustainability: Dell Technologies’ 2030 Moonshot goal is nothing short of ambitious and this commitment to using renewable and recyclable materials across all product lines continues. Dell has expanded the use of bioplastics in the new Latitude 5421 and 5521. This renewable material is made from Tall Oil and is featured in the LCD coverlid (21% by weight). Dell Technologies continues to explore opportunities to integrate more recycled and renewable materials in its products. For example, the new OptiPlex 7090 Tower and 7090 Small Form Factor are the world’s first PCs available with closed-loop recycled aluminum in the hard drive (20% by weight).; and the XPS 15 and 17 now come EPEAT Gold certified. And Dell is not only thinking about hardware – the Dell Ecoloop bags feature a weatherproof coating made using recycled film recovered from car windshields.
