Universal Music Malaysia has announced that d4vd, best known for global hits “Here With Me” and “Romantic Homicide”, will be performing live in Kuala Lumpur on 13 May, 7pm at A Quiet Place, Bukit Bintang. His live performance will also feature songs from his latest album Withered, released just last week.
While the showcase is free to attend, the organiser has stated that it is strictly by invitation only. However, if you’re a local fan of d4vd, you can stand a chance to win access by submitting their entries HERE, but be quick as it closes on 8 May.
On a side note, d4vd has released his debut album — WITHERED — featuring fifteen tracks that showcase the songwriter and artist at his best. The record follows the natural evolution of the rose, a recurring symbol in d4vd’s work, and is meant to be enjoyed sequentially like chapters in a book as a relationship unfolds. It crackles with love found, lost, created, and destroyed through every chorus and melodic line.
Also released recently is the album’s focus track “Is This Really Love?” along with its video. Directed by Tommy Kilroy, d4vd combines his unique style—bloody shirts, dark settings, and eerie red strings—into a cinematic world that mixes heartbreak and hallucination.
A continuation of his beloved EPs, Petals to Thorns and The Lost Petals, d4vd’s new album brilliantly amalgamates diverse influences into a visceral whole. It features the high-energy pop declaration “What Are You Waiting For,“ and the luxuriant downtempo track “Crashing,” featuring Kali Uchis. Additionally, “Feel It,” a hit single from Invincible, is a standout track that continues to garner over 2M streams daily across platforms.
