COMPUTEX 2025: Qualcomm commits Snapdragon X Series to power upcoming AI PC and entering data centers market

It’s been a year since the Snapdragon X Series Platforms were first introduced, and now Snapdragon is essential for your PC as it deliver performance leadership in the Windows ecosystem. Qualcomm President and CEO Cristiano Amon gave a keynote speech at COMPUTEX 2025 to showcase the progress we’ve made in changing the PC landscape and to preview future developments.

“Microsoft and Qualcomm have a long history of partnership and innovation, and over the past year, we’ve delivered an entirely new class of Windows PCs built for AI. Copilot+ PCs are transforming productivity and creativity across working life,” said Satya Nadella, Microsoft CEO and Chairman, during our keynote.

Qualcomm teamed up with leading PC innovators to deliver enhanced personal computing experiences with multi-day battery life and AI-driven efficiency. Over 85 designs are either launched or in progress across various price points, with more than 100 more set for commercialization next year. As AI evolves, Snapdragon is enabling agentic AI experiences to boost productivity across consumer and enterprise applications. There are over 750 apps and 1,400 games running on Snapdragon X Series, including the upcoming Fortnite.

The company is setting the stage for AI across PCs, mobile devices, smart glasses, and more, changing perceptions of AI as the new user interface. Stay tuned for Snapdragon Summit this fall to learn how Snapdragon X Series will transform the PC landscape.

The company is envision a hybrid AI future, with Qualcomm not only at the edge, but also in data centers. Qualcomm’s advanced custom CPU technology announced at Computex, in collaboration with NVIDIA’s AI platform, promises to enhance data center efficiency.
