Cheetah Holdings Berhad, the owner of the popular CHEETAH apparel brand, has adopted a 5-year-old male cheetah named Flash from Zoo Negara to support conservation efforts. The adoption programme costs RM18,700 annually and highlights the company’s dedication to protecting endangered species.

Additionally, Cheetah and Zoo Negara have launched a limited edition Cheetah X Zoo Negara collection, with 10% of sales going towards the zoo’s operating expenses and conservation programs. To celebrate this partnership, nearly 100 Cheetah employees volunteered to clean and beautify the zoo grounds, assisting with the care of wildlife.

Executive Director Roy Ho Yew Kee stated that adopting Flash symbolizes the organization’s values of speed, agility, and resilience. The initiative allows employees to actively participate in conservation efforts while offering fans and the public a chance to contribute through the special collection.
The adoption programme will support Flash’s care, feeding, and medical needs, as well as Zoo Negara’s conservation initiatives. Flash, now a healthy adult cheetah, was rescued as a cub along with his sibling Tianna at Zoo Negara.
Raised by humans, Flash has thrived and embodies the playful and active nature of cheetahs. The collaboration between Cheetah and Zoo Negara aligns with the company’s sustainability strategy, focusing on environmental conservation and community enrichment wherever it operates.
