CES 2023: ASUS introduces new ExpertBook B1 Models for hybrid work and learning

ASUS has recently announced the latest additions to the ExpertBook B1 series at CES 2023, which is packed with business-friendly features and power that make them the ideal choice for small firms, inspirational educational institutions and smart students. 

With a compact design, powered up to Intel Core i7 processors and a choice of 14- or 15.6-inch screens, the new ExpertBook B1 lineup will deliver impressive performance, enterprise-level security, military-grade durability and extensive connectivity, including the very latest WiFi 6E technology — ensuring they’re the perfect portable partner to empower business productivity, everyday learning and more.

Because ExpertBook B1402 and B1502 both are packed into highly-portable frames, the are great choice for students and businesspeople to picked up and packed for use on the go, anytime and anywhere. Those in education are empowered to study in the classroom and beyond, for easy collaboration and group discussions. For the world of work settings, the new B1-series laptops drive productivity, with a choice of bright, expansive and versatile displays for clearer presentations and sharing. 

Both models comes with NanoEdge displays that offer a wide 178° viewing angle and delivers bright and vibrant images for clear viewing under diverse scenarios and conditions. Moreover, the display is attached via a lay-flat hinge that allows the screen to be open a full 180°, making it easy to share content with others or collaborate on projects.

The new ExpertBook B1-series is powered by up to Intel Core i7 processor and paired with up to 48 GB memory and capacious up to 2 TB PCIe 4.0 M.2 storage.

It also comes with the latest WiFi 6E technology, allowing users with speedy and stable wireless connections. Traditional connectivity is also covered, with a full spread of I/O ports for easy compatibility with a wide range of peripheral devices. 

Security assured 

ASUS has confirmed that the ExpertBook B1 laptops will get a built-in infrared camera enables fast login via face alone, while an optional fingerprint sensor empowers another layer of secure authentication.

For privacy, a physical webcam shield is available on the laptop for a quick swipe ensuring the outside world is shut off. ExpertBook B1 laptops also offer optional Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 2.0 to ensure attackers don’t get a behind the scenes to snoop on the user’s private life or business data, securely storing authentication information used by software — from passwords to encryption keys. There’s even a Kensington lock slot, providing the assurance of physical security when ExpertBook B1 must be unavoidably left unattended.
