Viu Malaysia is celebrating the 66th Merdeka Day with Viu Lokal Lah! campaign, where the whole month of August will feature local contents and Viu Original production.
The campaign will be streaming local drama and film including the latest Viu Original drama and contents that has been highly recognised. Some of the drama which has been confirmed for streaming are I Love You, Stupid, Nenek Bongkok Tiga, Hilang, She Was Pretty (Malaysia), Keluarga Baha Don season 1-3, Black dan for film that has been curated for streaming are Pekik, Roh, Mukhsin and many more.*
The campaign will be spearheaded with a main event, Viu Lokal Lah! Live Showcase, which is happening on 31 August 2023 at LaLaport BBCC from 4pm until 10pm. Viu Lokal Lah! Live Showcase is presented by Vivo Y78 5G and gets merrier with the performance from local artist such as Bunkface, Saixse, Kidd Santhe, Radhi OAG & Budak Scene All-Stars, MK K-Clique, Aisha Retno and Fimie Don.
Viu Lokal Lah! Live Showcase also include the attendance of Viu actors and actress such as Hun Haqeem, Daiyan Trisha, Mierul Aiman, Tony Eusoff, Siti Khadijah Halim, Sophia Albarakbah, Ikmal Amry and many more.
Fans can join in for the activities from 4pm which includes visiting stores from local vendor Hausboom dan Empayar Kuku Besi along with the chance to win a variety of exclusive gifts and meet & greet session with Viu actors and actress.
