So, fans can expect Cartoon Network will be completely transformed into Cat-Toon Network – home of Tom and his best cat friends Sylvester, Gumball, Princess Unikitty, Oggy and more. Get in the mood for a paw-some celebration with some fun activities on Cartoon Network’s Facebook page:
· Did you know cats can make more than 100 vocal sounds? Put it to the test and show off your cat’s vocal prowess with Cat-Raoke as they dance and meow along to the campaign theme song. Post their most purr-fect purr-formance between July 26-August 8 and stand a chance to win an exclusive gift pack worth RM500!
· Share your beloved cat’s cheekiest and coolest photos on Fan Art Fridays from August 7-10, with a short description telling everyone why you are the proudest hooman to the best cat in the world.

Show your Kindness for Kitties in Need
There are always cats in need of a home so if you’re looking for a new member of the family, do remember adopting from an animal shelter or cat rescue organisation like S.I Home Shelter. Check out their official Facebook page here as they get in on the International Cat Day action from August 8 onwards with some creative Tom and Jerry costumes for their cats. Adopt these cats yourselves or help them find their forever home by sharing the post. The first eight successful adoptions will get a ‘thank you’ Cat-Toon gift set too.
However, if you’re not ready for the responsibility, you can always make a donation in cash or kind to S.I Home Shelter – things like dry or wet food and pet care supplies are always welcome.
