Bosch Automotive Aftermarket Malaysia (Bosch AA) continues to give back to society with a donation of batteries for ambulances of Selayang Hospital as part of its ongoing corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative ‘Safer Cars, Safer Roads’.
“We admire and greatly appreciate the tireless efforts of the medical community in Malaysia. Donating batteries to the hospital is our way to support the healthcare sector in the country as batteries are essential in ambulances because it is required to power up the life support equipment in the vehicle during emergency responses,” said Dillion Goh, Country Business Director of Bosch Automotive Aftermarket Malaysia.
Bosch AA invited one of its long-time authorized distributors, Rimbunan Kuasa Sdn Bhd, to join in this CSR initiative to donate batteries to local hospitals. The batteries provided will be used to power the ambulances at Selayang Hospital, keeping the ambulances always in ever-ready condition to respond to medical emergencies.
“Ambulances are a vital part of emergency response and we would like to encourage other Bosch AA distributors to also join us and play a small part in ensuring that the ambulances are well maintained so our healthcare workers can continue to save lives safely,” Goh added.
The engagement with the healthcare sector started back in 2020. Bosch AA contributed maintenance-free batteries and cabin batteries for powering important medical equipment, as well as wipers to the Sungai Buloh Hospital during the pandemic. In line Bosch Malaysia’s 100th Anniversary, Bosch AA has also reiterated its commitment to continue to find more opportunities to further support the medical community in Malaysia over the long term.
