Boon Siew Honda (“BSH” or “Company”) has officially secured six (6) prestigious titles at the Allianz – Bikes Republic Motorcycle of the Year (MMOTY) Awards 2026. Held at the Tropicana Golf and Country Resort, the ceremony recognized BSH for its excellence in innovation, safety, and versatility.
The night’s accolades highlighted Honda’s dominance in the scooter and technology segments:
- Naked Bike of the Year (Below 800cc): The Honda CB650R E-Clutch took home the top honor, praised for its “Neo Sports Café” styling and seamless gear-shifting innovation.
- Scooter Of the Year (Above 250cc): The Honda ADV350 took the top spot, celebrated for its premium crossover styling and urban-to-adventure agility.
- Sportbike of the Year (Below 1000cc): The Honda CBR650R emerged as the champion, recognized for its aggressive styling and balanced inline-four performance.
- Adventure Scooter of the Year: The Honda X-ADV was crowned for its dual-purpose capabilities and unique “wild side” appeal.
- Motorcycle Technology of the Year: Honda’s revolutionary E-Clutch technology was honored for redefining the riding experience by blending manual control with automatic convenience, a first in the industry.
- Malaysian Innovator of the Year: The Honda Goldwing (Airbag) was honored as a trailblazer in the Malaysian market, representing the gold standard of touring technology and engineering excellence.

This achievement follows BSH’s successful streak in 2025, where the Transalp and ADV350 also took home top honours. The 2026 wins further reinforce the company’s “Zero-Clutter” brand identity, focusing on premium lifestyle aspiration and technical authority.
Strengthening the Premium Network in Northern Malaysia
Apart from the awards, Boon Siew Honda also announced their strategic expansion of its premium Honda Big Wing network to better serve the Northern Region. This expansion increases the total number of Big Wing dealers nationwide from seven (7) to nine (9).
The two newly appointed authorized dealers are:
- Sin Sum Sun Motor Sdn. Bhd. (Perai, Penang): Led by Managing Directors Mr. Ooi Chin Keat and Mr. Ooi Chin Boon.
- Thye Seng Motor Sdn. Bhd. (Sungai Petani, Kedah): Led by Director Mr. Cheng Shiau Kian and Director Ms. Tan Suan Hwang.
Both outlets are expected to commence operations by 2nd half of 2026, marking a significant milestone in BSH’s commitment to premium accessibility and technical authority in the North.
