BMW Malaysia has introduced the BMW 740Le xDrive M Sport and BMW X7 xDrive40i Pure Excellence which will be available from 8th May onwards. Both models were confirmed by BMW Malaysia is locally assembled variant.
BMW 740Le xDrive M Sport – Electrifying luxury sedan with power and style
The BMW 740Le xDrive M Sport in Malaysia will be powered by a three-litre six-cylinder petrol engine and a lithium-ion battery with state-of-the-art battery cell technology. It is capable of hitting 0-100km/h in 5.1 seconds and max speed capped at 250 km/h. Overall, the sedan has a maximum combined output of 290 kW/394 hp and maximum combined torque of 600 Nm. Power is transferred to the sedan via an eight-speed Steptronic transmission which offers exceptional power to the drive wheels.
On the exterior, the front appearance now has a distinctive frontal appearance with larger air intakes that are complemented by C-shaped brackets. Together with the iconic kidney grille, BMW Laser Lights with High Beam Assistant and sharply sculpted trailing edge, the sedan is definitely a head turner for everyone. Having the “M Sport” moniker also brings the Individual High-gloss Shadow Line, 19” M light alloy wheels in Double-Spoke style 647 M Bicolour and M Sport brake.
On the interior of the 740Le, it has ‘Fineline’ Fine Wood Trim in Black with High Gloss Metal Effect offers an elegant interior, complete with the BMW Individual Alcantara Anthracite headliner. An M-Sport steering wheel with electrically adjustable Comfort seats with memory function will let the driver enjoy a spirited drive.
BMW 740Le xDrive M Sport arrives in four classic colour offerings – Mineral White, Carbon Black Metallic, Donington Grey, and Bernina Grey with Amber effect. The exterior offerings can all be paired with Exclusive Leather Nappa upholstery in either Black or Cognac stitching.
BMW X7 xDrive40i Pure Excellence – Imposing appearance and stature
The BMW X7 xDrive40i Pure Excellence has a six-cylinder in-line petrol engine producing a max power of 250kW/ 340hp, and a peak torque of 450Nm. As a result, it can goes from 0-100km/h 6.1 seconds thanks to an eight-speed Steptronic Sport transmission. Like the imported variant, the luxury SAV is offered with the innovative Executive Drive Pro with active roll stabilisation.
The interior of the BMW X7 xDrive40i Pure Excellence also features the opulent “Crafted Clarity” handmade diamond-cut trim element and a range of standard equipment including a sport leather steering wheel and electrically adjustable comfort seats. Space is offered to the luxury SAV via a versatile luggage compartment that can be maximised up to 2,120 litres with the backrests folded down.
The exterior of the luxury SAV features a massive front with the imposing kidney grille lends an exceptional road presence to the vehicle, along with the slender BMW Laserlight headlights that can illuminate up to 600 metres ahead. Available as standard also are the LED fog lights and high-beam assistant. The SAV also has a 21-inch light alloy wheels in Y-spoke style 753 Bicolour with run-flat tyres, available as standard. The variant also features a fully-electric tailgate in the rear with the Comfort Access feature, and two large, rectangular tailpipes – one on each side, conveying its immense power.
The BMW X7 xDrive40i Pure Excellence is offered in five exterior finishes in Malaysia. The exterior colours of Black Sapphire and Sophisto Grey come in Cognac Leather Vernasca upholstery with Black design perforations, while Phytonic Blue and Manhattan Metallic exteriors come complete with an all-Black design-perforated Leather Vernasca interior. Lastly, Leather Vernasca in Coffee with Black design perforations comes exclusively with the Mineral White model.
BMW Malaysia has confirmed the new BMW 740Le xDrive M Sport will be priced at RM 591,503.05 (on the road, without insurance) meanwhile the BMW X7 xDrive40i Pure Excellence is priced at RM 673,323.61 (on the road, without insurance).
