At the recent Putra Aria Brand Awards 2022, Bata was awarded for Gold award under the Apparel and Accessories category. The award event is is voted solely by the people of Malaysia.
Organized by The Association of Accredited Advertising Agents Malaysia (4As), it aims to recognize brands’ excellence within the marketing and advertising landscape, across multiple categories. This People’s choice award is measured by consumer growth, with over 25,000 survey respondents across Peninsular and East Malaysia (partnered with IPSOS).
The people determine Malaysia’s favourite brands based on their familiarity, experience and impression of the brand, their purchase intention, and the brand they would recommend to friends and families, with each category being awarded Gold, Silver or Bronze.

The award is also partnered with Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE), the Malaysian Advertisers Association (MAA), the Media Specialists Association (MSA) and the Malaysian Digital Association (MDA).
