ASUS Republic of Gamers Malaysia (ROG) announced that pre-orders for their latest ROG Xbox Ally series gaming handhelds will begin at 8.15PM on 3 October 2025, exclusively from the ASUS e-Store, with wider availability from authorized ASUS resellers starting 6 October 2025 until 15 October 2025.
Developed in partnership with Xbox, the ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X feature exceptional ergonomics and a full-screen experience, merging console and PC gaming. The ROG Xbox Ally is powered by an AMD Ryzen Z2 A Processor for energy efficiency, while the ROG Xbox Ally X uses the AMD Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme Processor for enhanced performance in AAA titles. Both devices improve significantly over the previous ROG Ally, offering top-tier handheld Windows 11 gaming.
Gamers in Malaysia can pre-order the ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X starting at 8.15PM on 3 October 2025. These devices offer outstanding ergonomics, a full-screen experience, and access to a wide gaming library, ensuring top-tier performance and flexibility.
From 3 – 15 October, pre-orders will include a bundle featuring the ROG SLASH Sling Bag 4.0, a screen protector, a 512GB microSD, and a 2-year Perfect Warranty package, valued at RM999. Additionally, there’s a 20% PWP promotion for the ROG Bulwark Dock DG300 and ROG 65W Gaming Charger Dock.
The ROG Xbox Ally X features the AMD Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme Processor, providing a balance of performance and battery life. It boasts up to a 30% performance increase in games like Indiana Jones and the Great Circle and Doom: The Dark Ages compared to its predecessor. Additionally, it offers up to twice the battery life during gameplay of Hollow Knight: Silksong. The ROG Xbox Ally also shows a 20% performance improvement in Forza Horizon 5 and Gears of War: Reloaded, with up to 110% more battery life than the previous Ally X. Both processors leverage Radeon’s latest software for enhanced graphics and performance, including features that improve frame rates significantly. The device includes an onboard NPU to support future AI gaming enhancements, merging Xbox power, ROG craftsmanship, and Windows versatility into one device.
