ASUS Malaysia has recently hosted their Transcend Beyond Grand Launch Event which saw the official launch of the Zenbook DUO (UX8406), Zenbook S 13 OLED (UX5304M) and Vivobook 16 (A1605V).
ASUS Zenbook DUO (UX8406)
The latest Zenbook DUO is the world’s first ultraportable laptop equipped with two 14-inch 3K 120 Hz OLED touchscreens. With its detachable full-size Bluetooth ASUS ErgoSense keyboard and touchpad, it offers a new way for on-the-go versatility.
The Intel Evo Edition Zenbook DUO expertly combines multitasking versatility with superb mobility in a 1.35 kg-light package. The dual full-size 3K 120 Hz ASUS Lumina OLED 16:10 displays are joined by a lay-flat 180° hinge to instantly expand the visual workspace to up to a massive 19.8 inches, which can be used in vertical or horizontal orientations for a number of versatile user modes — Laptop, Dual Screen, Desktop, or Sharing — controlled by intuitive ASUS ScreenXpert software. The rechargeable keyboard can be detached to allow full use of the visual workspace or be placed on the lower display for a traditional clamshell laptop experience.
Zenbook DUO maximizes productivity and play throughout the day with up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 processor with an integrated Neural Processing Unit (NPU) for AI acceleration, 32 GB of LPDDR5x memory, 1 TB PCIe 4.0 SSD, a long-lifespan 75 Wh battery, and a Harman Kardon-certified Dolby Atmos audio system. The laptop uses a variety of recycled materials, and is durability tested to US MIL-STD-810H standards to maximize the device’s lifespan.
ASUS Zenbook DUO (2024) UX8406 is available in Malaysia on Early Feb 2024, with the Intel Core Ultra 7 processor variant going on shelves from 19 February 2024 onwards, priced at RM 9,999. As part of the early bird campaign, customers purchasing the ASUS Zenbook DUO will also receive an ASUS VivoWatch 5 worth RM 1,288, while stocks last. The range-topping variant featuring the Intel Core Ultra 9 processor is coming to Malaysia and will be available on shelves at a later date.
ASUS Zenbook S 13 OLED (UX5304M)
Zenbook S 13 OLED is the world’s slimmest 13.3-inch OLED laptop, thanks to a super-slim 1 cm profile and a super-light 1 kg chassis.
The slim laptop comes in two colours, Basalt Gray or classic Ponder Blue. It is also designed with the environment and carbon neutrality firmly in mind, using recycled metals and plastics in its construction, FSCTM Mix-certified packaging, an elegant new eco-friendly plasma ceramic aluminum for the Basalt Gray model, and halogen-free electronics.
The Zenbook S 13 OLED is powered by the AI-ready Intel Core Ultra 7 processor with 32 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and a 1 TB PCIe 4.0 x4 SSD. There’s a full set of I/O ports for on-the-go connections, and a long-lasting 63 Wh battery.
Zenbook S 13 OLED has a gorgeous 16:10 3K (2880 x 1800) ASUS Lumina OLED display that’s Dolby Vision certified, with Pantone Validated color rendering and VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification, ensuring incredible detail and the deepest black levels.
ASUS Zenbook S 13 OLED (UX5304M) will be available from 19 February 2024 onwards, priced at RM 6,499.
ASUS Vivobook 16 (A1605V)
The ASUS Vivobook 16 features a 16-inch 16:10 NanoEdge display that offers a a screen-to-body ratio of up to 86.5%. The display also has eye-protection features such as TÜV Rheinland low blue-light and flicker-free certification.
In the performance area, it powered by the Intel Core 5 processor 120U with 16 GB RAM and a 512 GB SSD. For cooling, it uses the dual-vented cooling system with an IceBlade fan. The long-lasting up to 42 Wh battery gives users more freedom, and there’s up to WiFi 6E for ultrafast connectivity.
The laptop’s design is accentuated with a metal-look finish and a selection of on-trend colors. The 180° lay-flat hinge allows easy collaboration and sharing, and the comprehensive I/O capabilities include up to a USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 port with power delivery, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, a USB 2.0 port, an HDMI 1.4 port, and an audio combo jack. The laptop also comes with ASUS AI noise-canceling audio technology for crystal-clear communications,along with a webcam featuring ASUS 3DNR technology for the best possible video quality in any environment for the best conferencing experience. There are also bundled productivity-enhancing ASUS apps including GlideX, MyASUS and ScreenXpert.
The ASUS Vivobook 16 laptop is now manufactured using 30% post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastics and come in 100% recyclable packaging. Its energy efficiency outperforms the ENERGY STAR standard, and to ensure durability, the ASUS Vivobook 16 is tested to the strictest MIL-STD-810H US military-grade standard.
ASUS Vivobook 16 (A1605) is available in one single specification, featuring the Intel Core 5 processor 120U mated to 16GB RAM and 512GB of PCIe storage, priced at just RM 3,099. The ASUS Vivobook 16 comes in two colors, Indie Black and Cool Silver, and can be gotten from all authorized ASUS resellers as well as the official ASUS e-store starting 29 January 2024.
