ASUS Malaysia has launched the new 2022 ASUS TUF Dash F15 Gaming laptop that comes with Windows 11 and powered by latest 12th gen Intel CPU. The entire TUF Gaming family has been refreshed for 2022 with all new designs and processors. The lineup also includes a new MUX switch, unlocking even more GPU performance for gamers.
The 2022 model has been updated and upgraded with the latest hardware, while keeping the thickness of the chassis under 20 mm. The FX517 matches an eye-catching design with long-lasting durability. Compliant with the MIL-STD-810H, the FX517 has been exposed to drop and vibration tests, high temperature, and high humidity environments to ensure its resilience. The revamped design comes with aluminum lid, slim bezels for maximum immersion, and a compact 19.95mm body The FX517 improved design features a 26% bigger trackpad in a smaller chassis. The slim bezels and 80% screen-to-body-ratio ensure an immersive content consumption experience.
The specs for the 2022 model includes up to 12th Generation Intel Core i7-12650H processor and up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Laptop GPU with a MUX Switch. It also run on the new DDR5 memory running at 4800MHz and dual PCIe 4.0 capable SSD slots.
The local variant is equipped with FHD 144Hz display panel with response times as low as 3ms and Adaptive Sync support for smooth, fast-paced gaming experience. The gaming laptop also has Thunderbolt 4 support. Overall, the TUF Dash F15 offers a host of ports which includes 2 Type-C USB ports (1x Thunderbolt 4 and 1x USB 3.2 Gen2), DDR5 support, up to 2x PCIe 4.0 slots and WiFi 6. Both RAM and SSD slots are available for expansion upgrade in a snap.
All ASUS TUF Dash F15 variant will come with 76Whr battery for long hours of continuous video playback. The TUF Dash also supports USB Type-C Power Delivery up to 100W, allowing user to charge via a wide variety of compatible chargers and battery packs.
ASUS also include 720P HD camera, with 2D Mic Array and CPU bound AI Noise Cancellation for users who require to use the device for videocalls and videoconferencing. The TUF Dash F15 offers a great audio experience too thanks to Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio support.
