Astro and Disney+ is officially collaborating to bring together world-class content and Malaysian storytelling, extending reach and enabling more audiences across the country to discover both Disney+ and Astro’s content.
The collaboration will make more of Disney+’s movies, series, and originals available on Astro’s platforms like Astro TV, Astro GO, and NJOI, providing popular entertainment to Malaysian viewers. Additionally, a selection of Astro’s local content and favorite Malaysian shows will be featured on Disney+, sharing stories from Malaysia’s talented storytellers with a broader audience.
Disney+ offers many popular entertainment franchises and beloved characters from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and Hulu to audiences around the world. Now, Malaysians can access these favorites even more easily through Astro’s services. Customers of Astro and NJOI can watch a wider range of Disney+ movies and series, featuring big titles like Pirates of the Caribbean, Kingsman: The Secret Service, and The Incredible Hulk, along with popular films such as Maleficent, Brave, and Monsters University. They can also enjoy hit series like Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Scrubs, and New Girl.
Astro continues to be a major source of content in Malaysia, creating original stories that connect with millions. These stories include award-winning kids’ animation, variety shows, popular entertainment programs, and engaging dramas. More Malaysian titles will be available on Disney+ in different genres, including horror, drama, reality, action, and children’s programming. Some of these favorites include Zombi Kampung Pisang, Polis Evo 1 & 2, Ola Bola, Khun:Sa – Che Khun Che Nisa, Takdir Itu Milik Aku, Syurga Itu Bukan Mudah, Travelawak: Projek Bapak Bapak, and Didi & Friends, adding more variety for viewers.
