Astro will update its Movies and Astro One Epic Pack by adding four new channels, offering more variety, value, and great content for viewers at home. As we keep improving the Astro One experience, these changes show our promise to provide better and more enjoyable entertainment.
Starting 1 March 2026, customers who subscribe to the Movies and Astro One Epic Pack can look forward to:
Astro Showtime (CH 411)
Spotlighting the very best titles from Hollywood and beyond, Astro Showtime (CH 411) will launch with an exciting slate of blockbuster hits and acclaimed favourites, including Violent Night, Jurassic World Dominion, Beast, and Snow White and the Huntsman, giving viewers instant access to premium cinematic entertainment from day one.
Rock Action (CH 414)
Delivering nonstop, adrenaline‑charged action, Rock Action (CH 414) debuts with a high‑octane lineup featuring explosive fan favourites like Miami Vice, Rambo Trilogy, Godzilla Minus One, Ghostbusters, and Captain Phillips. Built for thrill‑seekers, the channel keeps you on the edge of your seat from the very first frame.
Rock X Stream (CH 415)
Bringing together the best of prestige TV and premium streaming, Rock X Stream (CH 415) offers a curated slate of acclaimed, high‑quality series including See, Mr. Robot, Black Sails, Nine Bodies in a Mexican Morgue, and more. Designed for discerning viewers seeking cinematic visuals, bold storytelling, and standout performances, this one‑stop destination delivers premium entertainment with the polish and impact of big‑budget streaming.
Additionally, beginning 1 April 2026, another new channel will be made available to customers.
Astro FAM Time (CH 412)
Astro FAM Time (CH 412) brings family-friendly favourites and feel-good entertainment to audiences of all ages. At launch, the channel will premiere heartwarming and uplifting titles such as Puss in Boots: The Last Wish, Minions: The Rise of Gru, Johnny English Reborn, and more, making it the perfect destination for shared movie moments at home.
Changes to HBO Content Access
These changes are due to a new partnership between Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) and Astro, which will affect how Astro customers access HBO content. Starting from 1 March 2026, the HBO Max app will still be available for Astro customers as a separate subscription. However, HBO HD, Cinemax HD, HBO Family, and HBO Hits will no longer be available on Astro from that date.
We know this service is important to many customers. Those on current bundle packages who want to keep enjoying HBO content can add HBO Max to their Astro subscription for RM24.90/month. This will include access to HBO Originals, popular movies, and exclusive series. Customers who already have HBO Max as an add-on will not see any changes.
To keep providing a variety of entertainment options, four new channels—Astro Showtime, Rock X Stream, Rock Action, and Astro FAM Time—will offer a new range of popular titles. Customers with Movies and Astro One Epic Pack packages will still have access to Prime Video and Disney+ at no extra cost, along with HITS Movies HD (CH 401) and Astro Showcase (CH 413), which will feature popular premieres, award-winning films, and various genres.
