Amazfit has launched its latest fitness smartwatch, the Amazfit T-Rex Ultra 2. This smartwatch is designed for unpredictable conditions, ensuring reliability where plans and environments may change. Built for extreme situations, the Amazfit T-Rex Ultra 2 features high-quality materials, better navigation, and long battery life to assist athletes and explorers on lengthy and challenging routes.
The T-Rex Ultra 2 features a 1.5-inch AMOLED display, scratch-resistant sapphire glass, and a Grade 5 titanium bezel and case back, which can withstand harsh conditions above and below the surface, with 10 ATM water resistance and dual diving certification supporting demanding outdoor and underwater use. It is also has a long last battery life, with up to 30 days of battery life in smartwatch mode and more than 50 hours of GPS tracking. It also has a 64 GB of built-in storage, allowing users to save maps, music, and activities directly on the watch for extended adventures without needing their phone.
The Ultra 2 has a dual-mode flashlight with adjustable brightness, a green light that helps users see the watch screen while using night vision goggles, and an SOS signal for emergencies. Use Boost Mode for a powerful burst of light during nighttime adventures or urgent situations.
For the first time in the T-Rex lineup, full-colour global maps come preloaded in the Zepp app, allowing users to install needed areas to the watch, create routes, search nearby points of interest, and reroute without a phone or network. Advanced GPS tracking supported by six satellite systems delivers accurate positioning and reliable navigation. Map data distinguishes terrain types better, while smoother interactions and optimized alerts enhance on-watch navigation. Additional improvements include offline route planning up to 100 km, faster rerouting, better elevation profiles, and smarter climb segmentation for clearer insights into ascents.
For long and technical routes, the Amazfit T-Rex Ultra 2 offers smart Checkpoint Display and Reminder alerts that let users mark important spots like water sources, shelters, altitude goals, or turnaround points. Improved climb tracking and better elevation profiles give users a clearer view of future climbs, aiding in pacing and energy management during an activity.
Additional features include grade-adjusted pace for better performance metrics on hills, voice memo recording during workouts, and a built-in speaker and microphone for Bluetooth calls and alerts. The watch connects easily with the Zepp app, offering insights into training, recovery, sleep, nutrition, and health.
The T-Rex Ultra 2 is available for RM2,399 on the official website and partners like Shopee, Lazada, and Tik Tok. From 20 to 23 February 2026, the introductory price is RM2,299, which includes exclusive gifts like an Amazfit T-shirt, a tumbler, and an additional one-year warranty, while stocks last.
