The new podcast will be hosted on Spotify and YouTube as it sets to be an accessible for inspiring and being of service to others while leveraging on Alvin’s profile and taking social responsibility as a public figure.

“As I’ve grown a lot not just as a person but within the entertainment industry, I got to a point of not just wanting to be more open and vulnerable but I wanted to also be more purposeful in an empowering way because I know that no two people have the same shared experiences.” said Alvin.
With a theme set for every season, the podcast episodes are set to be released every Wednesday bi-weekly at 9PM.
The first season will focus on issues faced by millennials and Gen Z’s in the 21st century such as mental health, family discord and discrimination in a workplace and each episode will feature guests such as Diana Danielle, Yonnyboii and Anis Nabilah to name a few.
Alvin’s objective for “R U OK?!” podcast is to create an avenue to shed light on taboo-like subjects and social issues while also building a community that shares the same view on the issues and are inspired to make a difference in the nation. The name ‘R U OK?!’ stems from Alvin’s intention of wanting to offer comfort to his listeners while its messaging from each episode is uniquely designed to allow freedom in perspective for the listeners, by showing a contrast of perspectives between the host and the guests.
“I find that nowadays people don’t ask this question often, especially to their loved ones. I find it’s very important that we have to care about the people around us, especially our family & friends. The funny thing is, the closer we are, the more neglectful we become as we tend to take things and people’s kindness for granted.”
The first episode will feature Diana Danielle discussing mental health awareness. Tune in by clicking here.
