The new addition gaming monitors is set to allow Alienware reach more gamers than ever before. Here are the key takeaways:

  • Alienware is strengthening its QD-OLED offensive with three new additions to the family, expanding the lineup to five different QD-OLED models.

New AW30 Design Language

Alienware is also reintroducing the AW30 —a brand-new design language and the cohesive thread that unites the entire new Alienware Monitor portfolio and extends across the entire Alienware family, bringing a bold, future-forward aesthetic and cutting-edge innovation to every model.

First shown at CES, the AW30 design language aims to create a feeling of mystery and transcendence that’s clearly Alienware. As the next step in their design journey, AW30 represents a new chapter for the brand as they near their 30th anniversary.

This design philosophy is inspired by the Aurora Borealis and combines mystery, performance, and functionality while reflecting Alienware’s iconic style.

AW30 brings forward a handful of functional and cosmetic advancements that help customers maintain a clean, organised desk:

  • Interstellar Indigo colourway: Showcases a bold, striking appearance that pays tribute to deep blue hues found within the celestial cosmos.
  • AW30 “glyph” iconography: Alienware language that any keen eyes can decode.
  • 360-degree ventilation: Elegantly designed to ensure proper airflow and protect essential components.
  • Compact base: Designed with a small footprint to help maintain a tidy desk, allowing for optimal keyboard placement and smooth mouse movements.
  • Simplified cable management: Eliminates the need for a rear cable cover. The convenient stand allows easy port access while keeping cables organised and clean.
  • Updated OSD UI and AWCC 6.6: Features a cleaner on-screen menu and integrated AWCC support to manage monitor settings directly from your desktop.

A Triad of New QD-OLEDs

The QD-OLED monitors are the top products in Alienware’s lineup, offering high visual quality. Alienware is adding three new QD-OLED displays, bringing the total to five models.

When the Alienware 34 Curved QD-OLED (AW3423DW) launched in 2022, it set the industry standard for gaming monitors. Alienware enhances its legacy with the redesigned Alienware 34 Ultra-Wide QD-OLED Monitor (AW3425DW), featuring a faster 240Hz refresh rate, improved HDMI 2.1 FRL connectivity, and G-SYNC Compatible certification alongside AMD FreeSync Premium Pro. With a WQHD (3440×1440) resolution and 1800R curve, this ultra-wide monitor immerses players in a broader gaming and cinematic experience.

Next up is the new Alienware 27 280Hz QD-OLED Monitor (AW2725D). With QHD resolution and a fast 280Hz refresh rate, it offers bright images and super-smooth performance, making it great for all types of games.

Joining the group is the Alienware 27 4K QD-OLED Monitor (AW2725Q). Announced at CES 2025, this monitor stands out with a high pixel density of 166 PPI (pixels per inch), the highest for any OLED or QD-OLED monitor. This means gamers get amazing visual clarity, speed, and immersion.

If you’re worried about OLED burn-in issues, you’ll be happy to know that all QD-OLED Alienware monitors come with a 3-year limited OLED burn-in hardware warranty, giving you peace of mind while gaming.
