Agoda launched Codegoda, a global programing competition with chance to win prizes worth up to US$10,000

Agoda has launched, Codegoda, a global programing competition which will be held on 17 July 2021 starting at 2pm ICT. Agoda is inviting software developers and engineers around the world to take part in and compete to solve algorithmic challenges. With a time limit of five hours, entrants can find solutions to the issues using programming languages of their choice, including C++, Python, Java, Swift, Javascript, and more.

These challenges are set by Agoda’s best-in-class tech team who help power global travel at scale managing 1,000 experiments running in parallel at any given time, and 1,200 deployments every day. The tech team at Agoda is responsible for over 220Tbs of data written daily, and oversees the smooth running of the trillion data events generated every day.

Participants can sign up at Codegoda.io from now until 17 July 2021 (2 p.m. ICT). The competition will be hosted on Interviewbit, and contestants stand a chance to win prizes worth up to US$10,000. The last Codegoda challenge, held in 2019, generated 900 entrants and seven software engineers who entered the competition were subsequently hired by Agoda.
