AEON Bank (M) Berhad (AEON Bank) has launched Personal Financing-i (PF-i), a fully digital and Shariah-compliant financing option that does not require collateral.
PF-i is available for all Malaysian citizens aged 18 to 55 years old who earn a monthly income of RM3,000 or more. This includes gig workers, families with multiple financial responsibilities, and those looking for flexible financial options.

Eligible applicants can receive funding between RM1,000 and RM10,000, with repayment plans of 3, 6, 9, 12, 18, or 24 months. This financing is Shariah-compliant and requires no collateral. It has a Flat Profit Rate of 6.88% per year, with an Effective Profit Rate between 10.29% and 12.70% per year. Additionally, there’s a low RM1.00 Wakalah Fee when you accept the financing, making it easier to access.
“Upon the launch of AEON Bank in May 2024, our vision was clear – to foster financial inclusion and serve the larger demographic of Malaysians by offering accessible digital banking services and technology-driven solutions via our mobile app. Now, the introduction of Personal Financing-i marks another milestone in this journey. We are not just introducing a product; we are building a financially inclusive ecosystem that prioritises sustainable Shariah-compliant digital banking and long-term financial empowerment. With the launch of PF-i, we aim to make it possible for more Malaysians to take charge of their financial well-being — be it through managing their financial needs for individuals or family, seizing new opportunities, or planning for a more secure future in an evolving digital economy,” said the CEO of AEON Bank (M) Berhad, YM Raja Datin Paduka Teh Maimunah Raja Abdul Aziz.
