adidas Malaysia has recently launched the adidas Originals Superstar Pop-up, at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur’s Centre Court. The event wasn’t only to showcase the global FW25 Superstar campaign to Malaysia but also shines a spotlight on the nation’s creative scene, led by the newly announced partner and local icon, Joe Flizzow.

In Malaysia, the story of the Superstar is changing thanks to local talents. Joe Flizzow, a pioneer known as the godfather of Malaysian hip hop, is at the forefront of this shift. His partnership with adidas Originals represents a new chapter for the brand and Malaysian street culture. Joe’s values of boldness, self-expression, resilience, and community commitment align well with the adidas Originals spirit.
“Superstar is about being true to yourself, about daring to stand out and inspire others,” says Joe Flizzow. “I’m proud to represent Malaysia in this global movement and to share this platform with the next wave of local talent.”
Experience the Superstar up close at the Pavilion Kuala Lumpur pop-up, featuring local artists like Ismail Izzani, DOLLA, Lil J, Julia Duclos, Elva Suyan, and Aziz Harun. They will bring the Superstar vibe to life with live performances and interactive sessions.
Visitors can enjoy fun activities like the Superstar Soundbooth, an audio experience with tracks from the artists, plus games like basketball shootout and Dance Dance Revolution.
If you buy a Superstar shoe for RM569 or a Firebird Track Top and Track Pants (starting at RM429 and RM399) at participating adidas stores, including Pavilion KL, The Exchange TRX, and more, you can enjoy a free coffee at the Superstar Café and get a special customization kit (while stocks last). This kit includes accessories to personalize your Superstar shoes or Firebird pieces.
The Superstar is back in two classic colors, along with the iconic Firebird Tracksuit. The Superstar features added padding for comfort and became a favorite in the late 90s for artists, musicians, and skaters. The Firebird Tracksuit has been in style since 1967, loved by trendsetters and music innovators around the world.
