PROTON has launched the 2026 PROTON S70, the latest sporty sedan for young professionals and families. Following the philosophy “Intelligence that Evolves,” the updated S70 emphasizes what’s important for today’s budget-conscious customers, providing a smooth and reliable ownership experience.

Elevated Performance with a Class-Leading Powertrain
The heart of the 2026 PROTON S70 is the i-GT 1.5-litre four-cylinder turbocharged engine, mated with a 7-speed Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT). It is now delivering 181 PS and 290 Nm of torque while reaching to the century in just 7.5 seconds, while PROTON is claiming it can maintain fuel efficiency of 5.7L/100km. The improved engine tuning provides smoother gear changes, better performance, and lower costs, giving drivers a great mix of power, efficiency, and comfort.

The 2026 PROTON S70 comes in four models: Executive, Premium, Flagship, and Flagship X, each tailored to different customer preferences. It features a stylish selection of colors like Quartz Black, Marine Blue, Space Grey, Snow White, Armour Silver, and the newly added Ruby Red.
When you buy the 2026 PROTON S70, you get a Standard Package for confidence and connectivity right away. This includes Pro-Warranty*, which gives you a 5-year warranty with no mileage limit and six free labor services. There’s also Pro-Connect*, providing a 5-year data plan with 2GB per month for easy access to connected features. Additionally, there’s Pro-Finance*, offering financing for up to 9 years with starting interest rates as low as 2.25% per year, and Pro-Xchange*, giving RM4,000 for trading in non-roadworthy vehicles.
To enhance the buying experience, PROTON is launching a Special Launch Package for the first 2,000 customers who register by 31 March 2026.
