Sime Darby Auto ConneXion (SDAC) has unveiled the 2021 Ford Ranger Raptor X Special Edition, in a new striking and exclusive True Red colour, for customers in Malaysia. The Red Raptor marks the first time to be introduced in the market.Â
The Ford Ranger Raptor X Special Edition will comes standard with a 360-degree camera. The camera will offer drivers combined videos to provide real-time full coverage of the area surrounding the vehicle.
A dual channel Kenwood Digital Video Recorder (DVR) is also installed on the special edition truck as well. It offers a range of functions, including Quad high-definition (HD) recording, wide-angle viewing, night view recording, a built-in polarised filter and Mobile App connect via hotspot. The DVR is compatible with both Apple iOS and Android and comes with a 32GB memory card.
Adding more premium features to the special edition truck is exclusive Raptor X decal and Special Edition carpet mat. Performance for the special edition truck is still unchanged as it delivers 213 PS of power and 500Nm of torque with Ford’s latest 10-speed automatic transmission with PaddleShift technology. It still retains the legendary FOX Racing Shox and a huge ultra-strength bash plate as standard equipment.
With a five-star NCAP rating, the Ford Ranger Raptor X Special Edition is priced at RM216,888 (on-the-road, without insurance) with a 5-Year Manufacturer’s Warranty or 160,000km, whichever comes first.
