Jaguar Land Rover Malaysia has launched the new 2020 Range Rover Evoque luxury compact SUV in two variants of Evoque and Evoque R-Dynamic, priced at *RM426,828 and *RM475,398 respectively (*price stated is inclusive 50% sales tax waiver, excluding car registration, insurance and roadtax). Some new aesthetic improvements in the new Evoque is New slim LED headlights and taillights as well as flush door handles.
The new Evoque boasts an All-Wheel Drive with Driveline Disconnect technology, which comes as a standard feature for both variants. The system allows the driver to fully disengage drive to the rear wheels when cruising to reduce frictional losses, and seamlessly re-engage in a fraction of a second, when conditions dictate a need for additional traction. Other notable features available for both variants are Land Rover InControl Touch Pro Duo and Smart Settings. The R-Dynamic variant will have more exclusive features like exterior enhancements, ClearSight Rear View Mirror and ClearSight Ground View.
Powering the Evoque is a new 2.0 litre Petrol Turbocharged Ingenium engine. The twin scroll turbocharged petrol engine supplies a fast response to throttle demand and provides a more engaging drive as boost pressure is delivered near-instantaneously. The Ingenium engine is paired with a state-of-the-art nine-speed automatic transmission.Â
