2020 Honda REBEL launched in Malaysia for RM 32,899

The Honda REBEL first debuted at Malaysia in 2017 by Boon Siew Honda whereby this custom cruiser motorcycle highlight a classic yet forward looking and contemporary bobber styling. For the 2020 model, Honda has greatly updated the Honda REBEL features to make it one of the best cruiser bike for beginner or experienced rider to enjoy it. Let’s find out the new features.

The Honda REBEL’s 471 cc 8-valve, liquid-cooled parallel twin cylinder engine is drawn from the sporty CBR500R. The new PGM-FI fuel injection mapping with different valve and ignition timings helps to produce torque-heavy bottom-end output, with smooth and linear delivery throughout the rev range. The engine is rated to deliver a maximum torque of 43.3Nm torque @ 6,000rpm combines with peak power of 34kW @ 8,500rpm. A new assist / slipper clutch feature is added to give more convenience to riders who love a long journey on the REBEL.

The pillion pad and rear pegs are now easily removed for customisation desires. A new 120mm ‘shotgun’ style exhaust ensures Euro4 compliance.

Rider’s comfort is enhanced with improved seat, front fork and rear spring rates. The twin Showa shock absorbers are now nitrogen charged, with reshaped damper rubbers for a firmer action. The low Slung tubular steel frame brings all these features together for a well-balanced neutral riding position.

The new Honda REBEL 2020 is now with all LED lightings, including a new LED indicators, 175mm diameter LED headlight, ultra-thin oval tail light and license plate light. The Speedometer is a compact 100mm dial display with white backlight along with a new gear indicator and fuel consumption display.

The Honda REBEL is available in 3 colors: Matte Jeans Blue Metallic, Matte Armored Silver Metallic and Graphite Black at all Honda BigWing dealership in Malaysia. The price for the 2020 Honda REBEL is RM 32,899 (excluding of road tax, insurance, and registration). Honda genuine accessories are also available.
