Strengthening Its Global Reputation for Clinical Excellence, Patient Safety and Measurable Patient Outcomes
Under the programme, over 2,500 hospitals are assessed from a global group of more than 200,000 healthcare facilities, which include public, teaching, university, and private hospitals. Only the Top 250 hospitals in the world are included in the published global list. This list features some of the most respected healthcare institutions, including Mayo Clinic – Rochester (USA), University Health Network – Toronto General Hospital (Canada), Cleveland Clinic (USA), The Johns Hopkins Hospital (USA), and Singapore General Hospital (Singapore). This recognition sets a standard for top academic and private hospitals globally.
The evaluation follows a strict method that includes peer recommendations from a global survey of over 100,000 medical experts, as well as data on patient experiences, hospital quality metrics, and Statista’s Patient-Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs) that look at how hospitals improve outcomes based on feedback from patients.
