“The past year has seen Malaysians, and indeed the world, face unprecedented circumstances. Yet within this struggle is the opportunity for many of us to bring forth the ‘Malaysia Boleh’ spirit and goodwill. Connecting Malaysians with Music
The Malaysia Di Hatiku song has been officially released today, featuring the musical talents of hip-hop artist Yonnyboii, Tabby from rising girl group Dolla and rappers Kmy Kmo and Luca Sickta.
Malaysia Di Hatiku is essentially a love song, but for one of the country. For as long as we live, Malaysians can count on loving their country as an essential part of our psyche. Therefore, through thick and thin, we will be there for our nation.
“Music is a human trait, one that we use to connect, to communicate, and to relate. With all that has happened this is an opportunity to bring in some positivity back to the community. As such we are pleased to be working once more with Samsung, not only in shining the spotlight on our local talents, but in working together to bring a positive change to the country, said Kim Lim, Managing Director of Universal Music Malaysia.
Malaysia Di Hatiku is now on all digital streaming platforms.
There will be competition going on with the campaign from 20th August until 2nd September 2021 where Malaysians can show their positive spirit in expressing their love for the country with the #MalaysiaDiHatiku campaign. Malaysians can duet with artists Yonnyboii or Tabby, or if they feel like upping the challenge, battle rap it out with duo-rappers Kmy Kmo and Luca Sickta. Participants can then caption their videos with words of encouragement to other fellow Malaysians and include the hashtag #MalaysiaDiHatiku, and submit their video on TikTok.
