Nothing unveils Phone (4a) Pink

Nothing has introduced the Phone (4a) in pink, marking the first time this bright color has been used in its products.

For Nothing, pink is more than just a color. It represents technology that is fun and hopeful, not just neutral. It acknowledges how art, music, fashion, and pop culture inspire their design.

To mark the launch of the pink colourway, Nothing has launched several cheeky activities across London including:

  • Disruptive graffiti across their flyposters in central London featuring cultural references relating to the colour pink
  • Pink graffiti takeover of the Nothing Store Soho window

Lucy Birley, Colour Material Finish Design Lead at Nothing, discussed the inspiration behind pink, noting “there’s a lot of amazing old tech references that we go back to very often.” Birely explains “pink is actually just desaturated red” and “when we put the tint inside the transparency, because of how the light interacts with the resin underneath you get this incredible sense of depth which makes our products look really lively and we do have all of this detail under the transparency, so it’s really nice to celebrate that.
